Wakefield Council holds meetings of the Council’s Committees within the County and Town Hall and occasional other venues. Should you wish to attend a meeting in person or to access further information on whether a meeting is being webcast, please visit the specific webpage and agenda papers for that meeting.
Security Notice
As the result of a building security review regarding Full Council and Committee meetings, there will be an increased security presence at Wakefield County and Town Hall.
As a condition of entry to Full Council and Cabinet meetings, bag searches and the use of metal detector wands will be taking place.
We may also ask visitors to the meeting to remove coats and jackets for searching.
We will also require any banners and signs to be left outside of the public gallery / meeting room – there will be a designated place to store these by reception.
