Consultation process
A public Notice will be placed in the Wakefield Express and
London Gazette. The advertisement will feature in those publications at least
once per week for two consecutive weeks.
The notices will advertise the Councils intention to revoke all existing
Smoke Control Orders and replace them with a new single district wide Smoke
Control Order.
The notice explains that any objections to the proposed revocation of existing orders must be made to the Secretary of State, who may modify the orders.
