note next steps on the Council’s approach to climate action following the
resolution of Full Council on 17 June 2026 to undeclare a climate and
biodiversity emergency.

set out proposed changes so that the Council’s work is focused on practical
interventions that make life better for local residents.
To
ask Cabinet to approve the implementation of changes to how the Council works
in this area to provide better value for money for local taxpayers.
